- Muse-Glimmer-30B versus the 27B class for local use A few things right off the bat: it reasons very efficiently. Like Grok 4.5 levels of efficient thinking it quantizes very well. My first few tests with iq3_xxs were better than Qwen/Gemma behaved at that size its knowledge depth is amazing. It beats Qwen3.6 27B on no-tools trivia. in OpenCode it is a much more efficient agent than 27B. Both models accomplish their tasks but Muse-Glimmer got there.
- DeepSeek V4 Flash as a reason to buy DGX Spark Having a ‘Killer Application’ that everyone wants to use helps sell hardware, plain and simple. DeepSeek V4 Flash 0731 isn’t an app of course, but I think it’s going to be the major catalyst for getting a lot of people to buy a couple of NVIDIA GB10-based systems because: It is an amazing coding / agentic use model. It fits perfectly on a 2x Spark Cluster It runs Fast AF with the right vLLM recipe.
- Running DeepSeek-V4-Flash as a Linux sysadmin I'm very happy with some Linux admin tasks I'm throwing at a locally running DeepSeek. My request was simple, check why 'samples' folder is taking more and more space on one of the machines on my LAN, is this a syncthing problem? OpenCode used DeepSeek-V4-Flash to investigate, it logged into that remote machine, executed diagnostic code it wrote, found that syncthing is indeed still syncing the fo.

- GGUF quants of Qwen3.6 27B versus NVFP4, AWQ, AutoRound, FP8 There's an interactive chart and some extra data in the blog post if you're interested. There are plenty of KL-divergence benchmarks for GGUF models, but most of them compare one GGUF quant against another. I wanted to know how those quants stack up against other commonly used formats (especially NVFP4). I tested 16 quantizations of Qwen3.6 27B: GGUF models in llama.cpp and the others in vLLM. At.

- How to file a complaint about a published CVPR paper Hi, I would like to file a complaint about an accepted and published CVPR 2026 paper that its main contribution is a dataset but it was never released, and honestly I don’t know who to contact. The dataset was never released prior to the conference, or during the conference or after the conference. I personally feel there was a lack of proper checking that the dataset was gonna be available before.
